## 3R Fund (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) (3R Fund)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/nea-3r-fund
- Agency: National Environment Agency (NEA)
- Goal: Go Green
- Support rate: Up to 80% of qualifying costs (drops to 40% for common off-the-shelf tech like standard food-waste digesters)
- Max support: S$1 million per project/applicant; Packaging Partnership Programme members get doubled funding
- Status: open
- Timeline: Applications accepted year-round, first-come-first-served subject to fund availability; disbursement over ~6-12 months of operation
- Official page: https://www.nea.gov.sg/programmes-grants/grants-and-awards/3r-fund
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: waste, recycling, sustainability, NEA, food-waste, circular-economy

NEA co-funds up to 80% of projects that reduce or recycle waste, capped at S$1 million, with the payout pegged to how many tonnes of waste you actually divert. Open to companies and organisations of any type, but the project must cut at least 100 tonnes of waste over its duration.

### Who it is for

- Companies generating significant food, plastic or glass waste
- Businesses installing waste sorting or recycling infrastructure
- Organisations of all types (companies, schools, town councils, MCSTs)
- Projects that will divert at least 100 tonnes of waste

### What it covers

- Process redesign to reduce waste
- Recycling infrastructure and equipment
- Waste sorting systems
- Operational upgrades tied to waste reduction outcomes

### How to apply

1. Prepare a short project write-up and email the 3R Fund Secretariat (WM_Fund@nea.gov.sg)
2. Refine the proposal with NEA and submit the formal application before starting the project
3. Install and commission; claim 50% after 2 months of successful operation
4. Claim up to 80% after 6 months; final payment on completion report

### Advisor notes

The grant is outcome-priced: it is calculated from tonnes actually reduced/recycled, not your invoice total, so a project that under-delivers on tonnage gets a smaller cheque. Note NEA's page was last updated Jan 2022 - confirm fund availability with the Secretariat before promising a client.

## Advanced Digital Solutions (ADS)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/imda-ads
- Agency: IMDA
- Goal: Digitalise & Automate

- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: ai, automation, imda, digital

- Adopting an IMDA-approved advanced solution (AI, automation, integrated platforms)

- Cybersecurity within approved packages

### How to apply

1. Identify an approved ADS solution and provider
2. Get the quotation and solution scope
3. Apply via Business Grants Portal
4. Deploy after approval and claim

### Advisor notes

Think of ADS as PSG's bigger sibling: for AI and integrated systems rather than off-the-shelf software. If you are adopting AI tooling with measurable productivity gains, start here.

## Agri-food Cluster Transformation (ACT) Fund (ACT Fund)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/agri-food-cluster-transformation-fund
- Agency: Singapore Food Agency
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Varies by component; includes a one-off S$15,000 package for standards adoption (S$10,000 consultancy + S$5,000 certification fees); larger co-funding for technology upscaling scoped per project
- Max support: S$70 million total pool (ACT Fund 2) available until 31 March 2031; per-project caps scoped by SFA
- Status: open
- Timeline: Open now through 31 March 2031 (ACT Fund 2); processing takes around 12-20 weeks
- Official page: https://www.sfa.gov.sg/recognition-programmes-grants/grants/agri-food-cluster-transformation-act-fund
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: agri-food, farming, SFA, food security, high-tech production, certification

SFA's fund to make local farms more productive, climate-resilient, and resource-efficient, now in its second phase (ACT Fund 2) with S$70 million committed through 31 March 2031. It co-funds farming equipment and pre-scoped solutions, large-scale high-tech production systems, and new industry partnership projects.

### Who it is for

- Farms holding a valid SFA farm licence in Singapore
- Farms free of unauthorised/illegal activities for at least 1 year before applying
- Farms pursuing Clean & Green or GAP/GAqP certification
- Farms and agri-tech partners collaborating on sector-wide solutions

### What it covers

- Capability Upgrading: pre-scoped farming solutions, equipment, consultancy, and certification
- Technology Upscaling: large-scale commercial high-tech production systems and pre/post-harvest facilities
- Industry Partnership projects between farms and agri-tech partners
- Standards adoption (Clean & Green, Singapore GAP/GAqP)

### How to apply

1. Confirm you hold a valid SFA farm licence and meet the compliance track record requirement
2. Scope your project against the three ACT components (email SFA_Incentives@sfa.gov.sg if unsure)
3. Submit the application via the Business Grants Portal using CorpPass
4. Await SFA evaluation, then execute and claim per approved milestones

### Advisor notes

This is strictly for SFA-licensed farms, not F&B or food manufacturers, and the 12-20 week processing time means you should apply well before you need the equipment.

## Business Improvement Fund (BIF) (BIF)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/business-improvement-fund-bif
- Agency: Singapore Tourism Board
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Up to 70% of qualifying costs for SMEs; up to 50% for non-SMEs
- Max support: Not published; scoped per project by STB
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling applications; processing up to 90 days from complete signed application; disbursement on reimbursement basis
- Official page: https://www.stb.gov.sg/licensing-support/grants/business-improvement-fund/
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: tourism, STB, digitalisation, sustainability, productivity, hospitality

STB's grant for tourism businesses (and tech companies building tourism solutions) to fund technology adoption, business model redesign, automation, and sustainability projects. SMEs get up to 70% of qualifying costs supported, non-SMEs up to 50%, paid on reimbursement after milestones.

### Who it is for

- Singapore-registered tourism businesses: hotels, travel agents, attractions, MICE organisers, tour operators
- Lifestyle/retail businesses with a strong tourism focus
- Technology companies creating solutions for the tourism sector
- SMEs (30%+ local shareholding, revenue <= S$100M or <= 200 employees) get the higher rate

### What it covers

- Technology innovation and adoption, automation
- Business strategy and business model/process redesign consultancy
- Sustainability initiatives and certifications
- Hardware/software, materials, training, and project-related costs

### How to apply

1. Use the STB chatbot to confirm BIF is the right fund and your project qualifies
2. Prepare an executive summary (BIF template) with objectives, project description, schedule, and costing
3. Email it to STB_Incentives@stb.gov.sg and wait for an STB officer to confirm eligibility
4. Submit the formal application; do NOT start the project before applying
5. Deliver milestones and claim on reimbursement after cost verification

### Advisor notes

Projects that have already commenced are automatically disqualified, and it is reimbursement-based, so you must have the cash flow to pay 100% upfront and claim back later.

## CISO-as-a-Service (Cybersecurity Health Plan) (CISOaaS)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/csa-ciso-as-a-service
- Agency: Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA)
- Goal: Digitalise & Automate
- Support rate: Up to 70% co-funding
- Max support: Not published; co-funding applies to consultancy engagement with CSA-appointed providers
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling applications; engagement typically runs a few months through assessment and remediation
- Official page: https://www.csa.gov.sg/our-programmes/support-for-enterprises/sg-cyber-safe-programme/cybersecurity-certification-for-organisations/ciso-as-a-service-to-develop-cybersecurity-health-plan/
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: cybersecurity, cyber-essentials, consultancy, SME, CSA, certification

CSA pays up to 70% of the cost of hiring an approved cybersecurity consultant who audits your business, writes a tailored cybersecurity health plan, and helps you fix the gaps. It is the standard route to getting Cyber Essentials certified without hiring your own security staff.

### Who it is for

- SMEs with little or no in-house cybersecurity expertise
- Businesses wanting the Cyber Essentials or Cyber Trust mark
- Companies handling customer data that need to show baseline cyber hygiene
- Firms that have had a scare (phishing, ransomware attempt) and want a proper plan

### What it covers

- Cyber health check-up against CSA's Cyber Essentials / Cyber Trust marks
- A tailored cybersecurity health plan
- Help closing the cyber hygiene gaps identified
- Related services offered by providers (vulnerability assessment, incident response support)

### How to apply

1. Pick a CSA-onboarded CISOaaS provider from the list on the CSA page
2. Register interest via the SMEs Go Digital platform or contact the provider directly
3. Provider runs the cyber health check and agrees scope with you
4. Sign up with the provider; the 70% co-funding is applied to the engagement
5. Work through the health plan towards Cyber Essentials certification

### Advisor notes

The 70% covers the consultant, not your new security tools; budget separately for the fixes the health plan will tell you to buy (some are PSG-supportable). Page verified live and updated 30 Jun 2026.

## Career Conversion Programme (CCP)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/ccp
- Agency: Workforce Singapore
- Goal: Hire & Wages
- Support rate: Up to 90% salary support during training
- Max support: Capped per-month per programme; enhanced for mature and long-term unemployed hires
- Status: open
- Timeline: Approval typically 3 to 6 weeks; support runs through the training period
- Official page: https://www.wsg.gov.sg/home/employers-industry-partners/workforce-development-job-redesign/career-conversion-programmes-employers
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: hiring, salary-support, reskilling, wsg

Salary support of up to 90% during the training period when you hire and reskill mid-career workers into new roles, across 100+ programmes by sector and role.

### Who it is for

- Employers hiring mid-career switchers into eligible roles
- New hire must be a Singapore Citizen or PR, typically with a career switch involved
- Role must be in a CCP-supported occupation

### What it covers

- A large share of salary during the structured training period (typically 3 to 6 months)
- Course fees for the conversion training in many programmes

### How to apply

1. Find the CCP for the role you are hiring (WSG directory)
2. Apply through WSG or the appointed programme partner
3. Hire and start the structured training plan
4. Receive salary support during the conversion period

### Advisor notes

If you were going to hire anyway, hiring a career switcher through a CCP can cut months of salary cost. The support rates step up for hires aged 40+ and the long-term unemployed.

## Company Training Committee Grant (CTC Grant)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/ctc-grant
- Agency: NTUC e2i
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Up to 70%
- Max support: Project-based
- Status: open
- Timeline: Plan development plus approval typically 2 to 4 months
- Official page: https://www.ntuc.org.sg/uportal/programmes/company-training-committee
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: ntuc, transformation, training, automation

Up to 70% co-funding for transformation plans developed with an NTUC Company Training Committee, covering equipment, software, and training tied to worker outcomes.

### Who it is for

- Companies that form a Company Training Committee (CTC) with NTUC
- Unionised and non-unionised companies can both apply
- Project must improve both business AND worker outcomes (wages, skills)

### What it covers

- Transformation projects: automation, digitalisation, process improvement
- Equipment and software within the project
- Training tied to the transformation

### How to apply

1. Form a CTC with NTUC (an NTUC IRO will guide this)
2. Develop the transformation plan with worker outcomes
3. Submit through NTUC e2i
4. Execute and claim per approved milestones

### Advisor notes

The 70% rate beats EDG, but the project must commit to worker outcomes (e.g. wage increases post-training). Good fit for companies already planning headcount upskilling alongside automation.

## Digital Leaders Programme (DLP) & Digital Leaders Accelerator Bootcamp (DLAB) (DLP)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/imda-digital-leaders-programme
- Agency: IMDA
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Funding support provided; rate not published on the current page (earlier IMDA materials cited up to 70% of qualifying costs - confirm with IMDA)
- Max support: Not published; scoped per company with IMDA
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling intake; DLAB AI confidence projects designed to ship in under 3 months
- Official page: https://www.imda.gov.sg/about-imda/research-and-statistics/support-for-industry-sectors/enterprise-digital-transformation/digital-leaders-programme
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: digital-transformation, AI, leadership, in-house-team, IMDA, non-ICT

For digitally ambitious non-ICT companies that want to go beyond off-the-shelf tools: IMDA funds you to chart a digital roadmap, hire an in-house digital team, and deliver emerging-tech (especially AI) projects. The newer DLAB bootcamp, run with partners like BCG and EY-Parthenon, walks your leadership through scoping and shipping a small AI project in under three months.

### Who it is for

- Non-ICT Singapore companies (min 30% local shareholding, ACRA-registered, taxable)
- Businesses with basic digital processes already in place
- Leadership teams ready to invest in an in-house digital/AI team
- Companies wanting AI projects with measurable business outcomes

### What it covers

- Consultancy to chart a digital roadmap
- Hiring an in-house core digital team
- Emerging-tech / AI 'confidence projects' delivered with programme partners
- Leadership bootcamp (DLAB) with structured expert guidance

### How to apply

1. Check you meet the eligibility (non-ICT, 30% local shareholding, existing digital baseline)
2. Submit the IMDA DTC Inquiry Form (DLP) or DLAB Interest Form
3. Scope your roadmap, team and projects with IMDA
4. Sign up for funding support and deliver against milestones

### Advisor notes

This is a relationship programme, not a form-and-claim grant - IMDA scopes support case by case, and the current page deliberately no longer publishes a headline percentage. Expect to show real commitment (hiring, leadership time) to get in. Page verified updated 3 Jul 2026.

## Double Tax Deduction for Internationalisation (DTDi)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/dtdi
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore / IRAS
- Goal: Go Overseas
- Support rate: 200% tax deduction
- Max support: Automatic up to the annual expense cap (approval needed above it)
- Status: open
- Timeline: Claimed at tax filing
- Official page: https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/financial-support/double-tax-deduction-for-internationalisation
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: tax, overseas, deduction, marketing

Deduct 200% of qualifying overseas expansion expenses (market trips, trade fairs, overseas marketing) against taxable income, with an automatic claim up to a yearly cap.

### Who it is for

- Singapore-registered businesses expanding overseas
- Expenses must be in the qualifying activity list
- Claim through your corporate tax filing

### What it covers

- Overseas business development and market trips
- Trade fairs (local and overseas)
- Overseas advertising and marketing
- Certain overseas office and manpower costs (with approval)

### How to apply

1. Track qualifying expenses through the year
2. Claim automatically in tax filing up to the cap
3. For amounts above the cap, apply to Enterprise Singapore first

### Advisor notes

DTDi stacks with MRA: MRA co-funds the cost, and qualifying remainder can still be double-deducted. Most SMEs claim neither. Confirm the current automatic cap with your tax agent.

## Enabling Employment Credit (EEC)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/enabling-employment-credit
- Agency: IRAS / MOM / SG Enable
- Goal: Hire & Wages
- Support rate: Up to 20% of monthly wages, capped at S$400/month per employee; plus an additional 20% (another S$400/month cap) for the first 9 months if the person has not worked for at least 6 months
- Max support: Up to S$800/month per employee during the first 9 months, then S$400/month ongoing; scheme extended at Budget 2025 to 31 December 2028
- Status: open
- Timeline: Automatic payouts twice a year; scheme confirmed until 31 December 2028
- Official page: https://www.iras.gov.sg/schemes/disbursement-schemes/senior-employment-credit-(sec)-cpf-transition-offset-(cto)-and-enabling-employment-credit-(eec)
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: disability hiring, wage offset, inclusive hiring, automatic payout, IRAS, until 2028

A wage offset of up to 20% for every local employee with disabilities you hire, paid automatically. Hire someone with a disability who has been out of work six months or more and the offset roughly doubles for their first nine months.

### Who it is for

- Employers hiring Singaporean employees with disabilities aged 13 and above
- Employee must earn below S$4,000 a month
- CPF contributions must be made for the employee
- Works alongside SG Enable's job support and training subsidies for PwD hiring

### What it covers

- Permanent wage offset of up to 20% of wages (capped S$400/month)
- Extra time-limited offset for hiring persons with disabilities returning to work
- Automatic assessment - no forms, no grant application
- Runs until end-2028, so you can plan multi-year hires around it

### How to apply

1. No application - IRAS identifies eligible employees from CPF and SG Enable records
2. Set up GIRO or PayNow Corporate so the payout can land
3. Receive payouts automatically (2026 payout from 31 Mar 2026)
4. Query your breakdown via myTax Portal or go.gov.sg/askpayout1

### Advisor notes

Pair this with SG Enable's separate job redesign and training grants for PwD hires - most SMEs claim the EEC but leave the SG Enable stack on the table. The S$4,000 wage ceiling is a hard cliff, not a taper.

## Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/eeg
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore / NEA
- Goal: Go Green
- Support rate: Up to 70%
- Max support: Tiered caps (base tier historically S$30,000 per year)
- Status: open
- Timeline: Approval typically 4 to 8 weeks
- Official page: https://www.gobusiness.gov.sg/energy-efficiency-grant/
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: energy, green, equipment, fnb, retail

Co-funds up to 70% of pre-approved energy-efficient equipment (LED, aircon, refrigeration, cooking equipment and more) for SMEs in supported sectors like F&B, manufacturing, and retail.

### Who it is for

- SME registered and operating in Singapore, at least 30% local shareholding
- In a supported sector (F&B, manufacturing, retail and others; list expands)
- Equipment must be on the pre-approved energy-efficient list

### What it covers

- Pre-approved energy-efficient equipment: LED lighting, air-conditioning, refrigeration, cooking, motors
- Higher tiers for larger decarbonisation investments with energy audits

### How to apply

1. Check your sector qualifies and pick pre-approved equipment
2. Get vendor quotation
3. Apply on the Business Grants Portal before purchase
4. Install after approval and claim with proof

### Advisor notes

For F&B owners replacing aircon, fridges, or cooking lines, this is often the highest-percentage grant available. Sector list and caps change at Budget time; verify before committing.

## Enterprise Financing Scheme (EFS)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/efs
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore (with banks)
- Goal: Loans & Financing
- Support rate: Government risk-share 50 to 70%
- Max support: Working capital up to S$500,000; other tracks higher
- Status: open
- Timeline: Bank credit timelines: typically 2 to 6 weeks
- Official page: https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/financial-support/enterprise-financing-scheme
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: loan, financing, working-capital, banks

Not a grant, but the reason banks say yes: the government shares 50 to 70% of loan default risk across working capital, trade, fixed assets, venture debt, and M&A loans.

### Who it is for

- Business registered and operating in Singapore
- At least 30% local shareholding
- Group revenue under S$500M (SME definitions vary per track)

### What it covers

- Working capital loans
- Trade financing
- Fixed asset loans (equipment, property)
- Venture debt and M&A tracks

### How to apply

1. Approach any participating bank or FI (they apply the scheme, not you)
2. Bank assesses your credit as usual with the government risk-share behind it
3. Draw down like a normal loan

### Advisor notes

If a bank rejected you two years ago, ask again under EFS tracks; the risk-share changes the answer for thin-file SMEs. Interest rates are still the bank's own.

## Enterprise Innovation Scheme (EIS) (EIS)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/enterprise-innovation-scheme-eis
- Agency: IRAS
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: 400% tax deduction/allowance on the first S$400,000 of qualifying spend per activity per YA; optional cash conversion at 20% on up to S$100,000 of qualifying spend
- Max support: S$20,000 cash payout per YA (if converting), or enhanced deductions on up to S$400,000 per qualifying activity per YA; available YA 2024 to YA 2028
- Status: open
- Timeline: Claimed with your annual tax filing; cash payout applications close 18 Apr (sole props/partnerships) or 30 Nov (companies) each YA; scheme runs YA 2024 to YA 2028
- Official page: https://www.iras.gov.sg/schemes/disbursement-schemes/enterprise-innovation-scheme-(eis)
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: tax deduction, R&D, IP, training, cash payout, innovation

A tax scheme that gives your business 400% tax deductions or allowances on the first S$400,000 you spend each year on innovation activities like R&D, IP registration, and staff training. If you are not yet profitable, you can convert up to S$100,000 of that qualifying spend into a non-taxable cash payout of up to S$20,000 per year instead.

### Who it is for

- Sole proprietorships, partnerships, and companies carrying on active business in Singapore
- Businesses spending on R&D, IP, training, or innovation projects
- For the cash payout: businesses with at least 3 full-time local employees for 6+ months in the basis period
- Loss-making or low-profit businesses that cannot use tax deductions benefit most from the cash option

### What it covers

- Qualifying R&D undertaken in Singapore
- Registration of IP (patents, trademarks, designs) and acquisition/licensing of IP rights
- Training of employees on qualifying courses
- Innovation projects done with polytechnics, ITE, or other qualified partners

### How to apply

1. Track and document qualifying spend across the five EIS activities during your financial year
2. Claim the enhanced deductions when filing your Income Tax Return (Form C-S/C)
3. If converting to cash instead, apply via IRAS digital service 'Apply for EIS Cash Payout' after filing, before your return's filing due date
4. Keep all supporting records (invoices, agreements) for 7 years in case of IRAS audit

### Advisor notes

You cannot claim the enhanced deduction AND convert the same expenditure to cash, and the 20% cash conversion is worth far less than the deduction if you are profitable; also note sole proprietors do not count as employees for the training category.

## Experience Step-Up Fund (ESF)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/stb-experience-step-up-fund
- Agency: Singapore Tourism Board (STB)
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Not published; assessed per project by STB
- Max support: Not published; scoped per project
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling; processing up to 90 days from complete submission; reimbursement after deliverables verified
- Official page: https://www.stb.gov.sg/licensing-support/grants/experience-step-up-fund/
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: tourism, visitor-experience, STB, technology-adoption, attractions

STB co-funds tourism businesses to develop new visitor experiences, refresh content, adopt technology or upgrade amenities. It is the go-to STB fund for making an existing tourism product more attractive, including digital and hybrid experiences.

### Who it is for

- Tourism businesses enhancing or building visitor experiences
- Attractions, tours and precincts adopting technology
- Associations and government bodies with tourism projects

### What it covers

- Professional services
- Equipment, software, materials and production
- Marketing tied to the new experience
- Amenities and infrastructure improvements

### How to apply

1. Check eligibility via the chatbot on the STB grants page
2. Prepare an executive summary using STB's template
3. Wait for an STB officer to contact you and guide the formal application
4. Sign the grant agreement before starting the project (no pre-commencement work allowed)

### Advisor notes

STB deliberately doesn't publish support rates - the quantum is negotiated after your executive summary, so the summary is effectively the pitch; don't sign any supplier contract before the grant offer or the whole project becomes ineligible. Page verified updated 8 May 2026.

## Financial Sector Technology and Innovation Scheme (FSTI 3.0) (FSTI 3.0)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/mas-fsti-3
- Agency: Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Track-dependent: typically up to 50% co-funding (manpower co-funding 50% for Singapore Citizens / 25% for non-SCs on CoE and industry-wide tracks)
- Max support: Track-dependent: e.g. ~S$400,000 (Early Innovation), S$500,000 (ESG FinTech), S$250,000 rental cap (CoE)
- Status: open
- Timeline: Scheme extended until 16 July 2026 - effectively closing to new applications imminently unless MAS renews it
- Official page: https://www.mas.gov.sg/schemes-and-initiatives/fsti-scheme
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: fintech, financial-services, MAS, AI, ESG, regtech

MAS's umbrella scheme funding innovation in the financial sector across seven tracks: Centre of Excellence, Industry-wide Infrastructure, Innovation Acceleration, AI & Data Analytics, ESG FinTech, RegTech and Quantum. Fintechs and solution providers can qualify on several tracks (e.g. Early Innovation at up to 50% of costs capped at S$400,000), but note the scheme is currently extended only until 16 July 2026.

### Who it is for

- MAS-regulated financial institutions
- Fintechs / solution providers working with MAS-regulated FIs (Innovation Acceleration track)
- FIs, CVCs and global tech companies setting up Centres of Excellence in Singapore
- Industry consortiums and associations building sector-wide utilities

### What it covers

- Manpower expenses for qualifying roles
- Professional services and consultancy
- Hardware/software infrastructure and licences
- Equipment and IP rights

### How to apply

1. Email fintech_office@mas.gov.sg to discuss the proposed project
2. Pick the right track (Innovation Acceleration is the usual fintech route)
3. Submit the application at least 3 months before project commencement
4. Deliver against agreed milestones for reimbursement

### Advisor notes

Treat this as expiring: the official page (updated 5 Mar 2026) says FSTI is extended only until 16 Jul 2026, days away - any client pitch should either move immediately or wait to see if MAS announces FSTI 4.0. The 3-month-before-commencement rule means new applications are practically out of runway.

## GenAI for SMEs (GenAI Navigator + pre-approved GenAI solutions) (GenAI for SMEs)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/imda-genai-solutions-smes
- Agency: IMDA (SMEs Go Digital)
- Goal: Digitalise & Automate
- Support rate: Up to 50% grant support on pre-approved GenAI solutions
- Max support: Per Productivity Solutions Grant caps for the chosen solution
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling; PSG claims after solution is deployed and paid
- Official page: https://smesgodigital.gov.sg/web/genai
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: genai, ai, chatbot, SME, IMDA, productivity

IMDA's current GenAI offering for SMEs: a free GenAI Navigator tool that matches you to the right solution, plus a catalogue of pre-approved GenAI solutions (chatbots, marketing content generation, office productivity, generative web design) with up to 50% grant support. This is what the earlier GenAI Sandbox trials have evolved into.

### Who it is for

- SMEs that want AI for customer service, marketing or admin without building anything
- Businesses already using basic digital tools ready for the next step
- Teams drowning in repetitive content and customer-query work

### What it covers

- GenAI-enabled chatbots for customer engagement
- GenAI marketing and sales content generation
- GenAI office productivity tools and virtual assistants
- Generative web design solutions

### How to apply

1. Run the free GenAI Navigator on the SMEs Go Digital portal to shortlist solutions
2. Get a quote from the pre-approved vendor
3. Apply for the grant support via Business Grants Portal (PSG route)
4. Adopt the solution and claim after deployment

### Advisor notes

The funding mechanism is PSG under the hood, so the usual PSG rules apply (buy only after approval, pre-approved vendors only). The famous 'GenAI Sandbox' 1.0/2.0 were time-boxed trial rounds that have concluded; this catalogue is the live successor. Portal verified 1 Jul 2026.

## Go Digital Advisor & Digital Health Check (formerly CTO-as-a-Service) (Go Digital Advisor)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/imda-go-digital-advisor
- Agency: IMDA (SMEs Go Digital)
- Goal: Digitalise & Automate
- Support rate: Free advisory tools; recommended solutions carry up to 50% grant support
- Max support: N/A (advisory); solution grants per PSG caps
- Status: open
- Timeline: Instant; no application needed for the advisory itself
- Official page: https://smesgodigital.gov.sg/web/DigitalHealthCheck
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: advisory, digital-readiness, free, SME, IMDA, assessment

Free self-serve advisory on the SMEs Go Digital portal: a 5-10 minute Digital Health Check scores how digitally ready you are for your sector, and the Go Digital Advisor matches your pain points to grant-supported solutions. It is the current form of what IMDA used to call CTO-as-a-Service.

### Who it is for

- Any Singapore SME unsure where to start with digitalisation
- Owners who want a sector-benchmarked digital readiness score
- Businesses that want solution recommendations before committing budget

### What it covers

- Digital Health Check self-assessment across 25+ sectors
- Matching of business challenges to pre-approved digital solutions
- Cybersecurity freebies (phishing simulation, cyber threat scan, mobile/broadband security)
- Industry Digital Plans and GenAI Playbook resources

### How to apply

1. Go to smesgodigital.gov.sg and run the Digital Health Check (5-10 min)
2. Use Go Digital Advisor to pick the business area and challenges
3. Review the recommended grant-supported solutions
4. Apply for the relevant grant (PSG) if you adopt one

### Advisor notes

Don't go hunting for 'CTO-as-a-Service' pages anymore; the old services2.imda.gov.sg links now redirect here, and the deeper human digital-consultancy element is accessed through the portal rather than as a named scheme. Verified live 1 Jul 2026.

## Growth and Transformation Scheme (GTS)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/bca-growth-transformation-scheme
- Agency: Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Up to 70% of cost premiums tied to qualifying costs, on reimbursement basis
- Max support: Not published; scoped per alliance workplan
- Status: open
- Timeline: Open 1 Apr 2022 to 31 Mar 2028; multi-year workplans; reimbursement against milestones
- Official page: https://www1.bca.gov.sg/grants-and-funded-programmes/growth-and-transformation-scheme/
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: construction, built-environment, productivity, BCA, alliance, transformation

BCA funds developer-led alliances (developer plus consultants, main contractor, subcontractors, prefabricators) up to 70% of the cost premium of transforming how they build, targeting 30-35% site productivity gains. Applications are open until 31 March 2028 under the BuildSG Transformation Fund.

### Who it is for

- Developers registered in Singapore who can lead a value-chain alliance
- Alliances with completed local projects in the past 3 years and a 3-5 year pipeline
- Value chains committed to 30% (non-residential) / 35% (residential) productivity gains over 2010 levels
- Alliances that include SME stakeholders

### What it covers

- Equipment, materials and software
- Testing, accreditation and technology licensing
- IP rights
- Training and consultancies

### How to apply

1. Form a developer-led alliance with your value chain partners
2. Prepare a multi-year (minimum 3-year) alliance workplan
3. Submit the GTS Enquiry Form to BCA
4. Provide supporting documents; do not sign project contracts before applying

### Advisor notes

This is developer-led by design - a subcontractor or builder cannot apply solo; if your client is downstream, the play is getting them into a developer's alliance. Funding covers the cost premium of doing it the new way, not the whole project cost. Page verified updated 3 Jul 2026.

## Kickstart Fund (Kickstart)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/stb-kickstart-fund
- Agency: Singapore Tourism Board (STB)
- Goal: Start Something
- Support rate: Not published; assessed per project by STB
- Max support: Up to S$1 million per project; pilot events supported for up to 4 editions over 4 years
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling; processing up to 90 days; multi-edition support possible over up to 4 years
- Official page: https://www.stb.gov.sg/licensing-support/grants/kickstart-fund/
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: tourism, events, pilot, STB, innovation, startup

STB funding of up to S$1 million per project to pilot innovative tourism concepts and events with strong potential, supporting up to four editions of a new event over four years. Designed to de-risk trying something genuinely new in the tourism scene.

### Who it is for

- Companies piloting innovative tourism concepts or events
- Event organisers testing a new format with tourism potential
- Legal entities (businesses, associations, government bodies) with uncommenced projects

### What it covers

- Professional services
- Production equipment and materials
- Marketing for the pilot

### How to apply

1. Check eligibility via the chatbot on the STB grants page
2. Prepare the executive summary pitch
3. Await STB officer contact and submit the formal application
4. Run the pilot and claim on reimbursement after deliverables are verified

### Advisor notes

The 4-editions cap means STB expects the event to become self-sustaining - your pitch should show a path to running without the grant by edition five. As with all STB funds, starting anything before approval kills eligibility. Page verified updated 22 May 2026.

## Local Enterprise and Association Development (LEAD) Programme (LEAD)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/lead-programme
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore
- Goal: Go Overseas
- Support rate: Up to 70% of eligible project costs
- Max support: Not published; scoped per project with EnterpriseSG
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling applications; project-based
- Official page: https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/financial-support/local-enterprise-and-association-development-programme
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: trade associations, TAC, trade fairs, business missions, industry development, internationalisation

Funds trade associations and chambers (TACs) to run industry-wide projects that upgrade capabilities and take local enterprises overseas, covering up to 70% of eligible costs. SMEs benefit indirectly: TACs use LEAD to subsidise members' participation in international trade fairs and business missions at up to 70% of eligible expenses.

### Who it is for

- Singapore-registered trade associations and chambers, societies, professional bodies, and companies limited by guarantee
- TACs representing a key industry with sizeable membership
- TACs with a strong track record of helping enterprises and capable leadership
- SMEs benefit as members via LEAD-supported trade fairs and missions

### What it covers

- Salaries, equipment, and materials for industry development projects
- Professional and consulting services
- Trade fairs and overseas business missions (booth rental, construction, publicity)
- Technology adoption, industry standards/certification, and IP licensing

### How to apply

1. TAC scopes an industry development or internationalisation project
2. Contact EnterpriseSG via the LEAD page to discuss eligibility
3. Submit a project proposal for evaluation
4. On approval, run the project and claim on a reimbursement basis

### Advisor notes

Individual SMEs cannot apply directly; the play is to join an active TAC in your industry and ride its LEAD-supported trade fairs and missions, which effectively gets you 70% off overseas exhibition costs.

## Maritime Innovation and Technology (MINT) Fund (MINT Fund)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/mpa-mint-fund
- Agency: Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA)
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Co-funding of manpower, equipment and operating expenditure (MINT-RPD); grant of up to S$100,000 (MINT-STARTUP)
- Max support: MINT-STARTUP: S$100,000; MINT-RPD: scoped per project
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling for the two schemes; themed calls for proposals open and close throughout the year
- Official page: https://www.mpa.gov.sg/maritime-singapore/what-maritime-singapore-offers/programmes-to-support-your-maritime-business/mint-fund
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: maritime, R&D, startup, MPA, port-tech, innovation

MPA's fund for maritime tech, with two live schemes: MINT-RPD co-funds applied R&D and product development done in Singapore, and MINT-STARTUP gives start-ups that finish PIER71 or partner accelerators up to S$100,000 for proof-of-concept and pilot projects. Both are geared to getting new tech deployed in the port and shipping sector.

### Who it is for

- Maritime tech developers and marine/port equipment makers incorporated in Singapore
- Maritime companies with in-house R&D (paid-up capital of at least 50% of project cost for RPD)
- Tech start-ups under 10 years old that completed PIER71 or MPA partner accelerators
- Start-ups within SME limits (turnover under S$100m or under 200 staff)

### What it covers

- Applied R&D and product development with commercialisation potential
- Test-bedding of tech in Singapore's port and maritime facilities
- Manpower and equipment engaged for the project
- POC, proof-of-value and pilot projects (start-up track)

### How to apply

1. Confirm your project is maritime-relevant and core development will happen in Singapore
2. For the start-up track, complete PIER71 Accelerate or a partner acceleration programme first
3. Submit your proposal to MPA (or via active calls for proposals)
4. Get MPA approval before starting - costs incurred pre-approval don't qualify

### Advisor notes

The S$100k start-up money is gated behind finishing PIER71 or a partner accelerator - there's no walk-up application. Several themed MINT calls (eBL, additive manufacturing) are marked closed; the two core schemes are what's open. Page verified updated 3 Jul 2026.

## Mid-Career Pathways Programme (Host Organisations) (MCPP)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/mid-career-pathways-programme
- Agency: WSG / SWDA
- Goal: Hire & Wages
- Support rate: Government funds 70% of the monthly training allowance; you co-fund 30%
- Max support: Allowance range S$1,800-S$3,800/month (government share up to ~S$2,660/month), for 4-6 months per trainee
- Status: open
- Timeline: Open and active (page updated 30 June 2026); attachments run 4-6 months
- Official page: https://www.swda.gov.sg/home/employers-industry-partners/workforce-skills-development/mid-career-pathways-programme-for-host-organisations
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: mid-career, attachment, try before hire, 40 and above, allowance funding, WSG

Trial an experienced 40+ hire for four to six months while the government pays 70% of their attachment allowance. If they work out, you convert them to a permanent role; if not, you part ways with no severance baggage.

### Who it is for

- Host organisations registered or incorporated in Singapore (SMEs, MNCs, TACs, NGOs, non-profits)
- Companies with genuine headcount to hire mature workers aged 40 and above
- Must commit to converting satisfactory trainees into full-time permanent roles
- Conversion salary must be same or higher than the attachment allowance

### What it covers

- 70% of the trainee's monthly attachment allowance for 4-6 months
- A structured way to assess mature mid-career switchers before committing
- Early-conversion support if you hire them after the 3-month minimum
- Access to WSG's pool of mid-career candidates

### How to apply

1. Prepare a clear training description and development plan for the attachment role
2. Sign up as a host organisation via the MCPP page on the SWDA/WSG site
3. Select and onboard trainees for a 4-6 month attachment
4. Convert satisfactory performers to permanent employment (committed upfront)

### Advisor notes

The conversion commitment is real - WSG expects you to hire satisfactory trainees, so treat this as subsidised probation, not cheap temporary labour. Budget for the permanent salary from day one.

## Overseas Markets Immersion Programme (for Employers) (OMIP)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/overseas-markets-immersion-programme
- Agency: WSG / SWDA (Programme Partner: Singapore Business Federation)
- Goal: Go Overseas
- Support rate: Up to 70% salary support (capped S$5,000/month) for up to 9 months, plus up to 70% overseas allowance (capped S$3,000/month) while the employee is physically in-market
- Max support: Up to S$72,000 per eligible employee
- Status: open
- Timeline: Open (page updated 26 June 2026); support runs up to 9 months per posting
- Official page: https://www.wsg.gov.sg/home/employers-industry-partners/workforce-development-job-redesign/omip-for-employers
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: overseas expansion, salary support, posting, SBF, market entry, go-overseas

Posting a Singaporean employee overseas to open a new market? OMIP pays up to 70% of their salary and 70% of their overseas living allowance for up to nine months. Total support can reach S$72,000 per employee posted.

### Who it is for

- Companies registered or incorporated in Singapore with concrete overseas expansion plans and KPIs
- Employee must be full-time (permanent or contract) on at least S$4,000 fixed monthly salary
- Posting must be a relocation of at least 6 months to one identified market
- Role overseas must be genuinely new/different from the employee's previous job

### What it covers

- Up to 70% of the posted employee's salary for up to 9 months
- Up to 70% of overseas allowances: housing, meals, transport, medical/insurance, hardship, mobile
- Structured training plan support developed with SBF
- A 24-month career development plan framework for the returning employee

### How to apply

1. Define the target market, expansion KPIs and the overseas job role
2. Build the training and 24-month career development plan (SBF assists as Programme Partner)
3. Apply via the OMIP employer page / SBF
4. Post the employee overseas for at least 6 months and claim salary + allowance support

### Advisor notes

The paperwork burden is front-loaded: WSG wants defined KPIs, a delineated new job role and a 24-month development plan before approval. If your 'expansion plan' is really just sending a salesperson to visit clients, it will not qualify - the relocation must be real.

## Partnerships for Capability Transformation (PACT) (PACT)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/pact-programme
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore / EDB
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Co-funding of qualifying partnership costs; exact rate scoped per project with EnterpriseSG/EDB (not published)
- Max support: Not published; project-based
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling; project-based, typically initiated by or with the large corporate partner
- Official page: https://www.edb.gov.sg/en/incentives-and-programmes/incentives-and-facilitation-programmes/partnerships-for-capability-transformation-pact-scheme.html
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: MNC partnership, supplier development, co-innovation, corporate venturing, capability building, SME

Co-funds structured partnerships between large companies (MNCs or large local enterprises) and Singapore-based SMEs across five modalities: supplier development, co-innovation, capability training, internationalisation, and corporate venturing. Enhanced in March 2024 to cover more industries and partnership types, with a government target of 100 new partnerships over five years.

### Who it is for

- Singapore-based SMEs partnering a large corporate (MNC or large local enterprise)
- Large companies willing to develop their local suppliers or partners
- SMEs seeking to qualify as suppliers, co-develop products, or enter new markets alongside a big partner
- Startups/SMEs test-bedding solutions with government agencies under Gov-PACT

### What it covers

- Manpower costs for the partnership project
- Software, hardware, and equipment
- Professional services, testing, and qualification of suppliers
- Co-innovation, capability training, and joint internationalisation activities

### How to apply

1. Identify a large corporate partner (or respond to a Gov-PACT/EDB-facilitated opportunity)
2. Jointly define the partnership project and outcomes
3. Contact EnterpriseSG or EDB via the PACT page to scope eligibility and funding
4. Submit the joint application and execute on approval

### Advisor notes

PACT is anchored by the large company, not the SME; funding rates are not published and everything is negotiated per project, so without a committed corporate partner there is nothing to apply for.

## Progressive Wage Credit Scheme (PWCS)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/pwcs
- Agency: IRAS
- Goal: Hire & Wages
- Support rate: Co-funding share of qualifying wage increases (rates set per year at Budget)
- Max support: Applies to wage increases within the qualifying gross wage ceiling
- Status: open
- Timeline: Automatic annual payout cycles
- Official page: https://www.iras.gov.sg/schemes/disbursement-schemes/progressive-wage-credit-scheme-(pwcs)
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: wages, iras, automatic, payroll

The government co-funds a share of wage increases you give to lower-wage local employees, automatically via IRAS, no application needed.

### Who it is for

- Employers giving wage increases to Singapore Citizen or PR employees
- Employee gross monthly wage within the qualifying ceiling
- CPF contributions must be paid on time (that is the data source)

### What it covers

- A percentage of the wage increase you give, paid out to the employer
- Automatic payout based on CPF records

### How to apply

1. No application: pay CPF correctly and on time
2. Give qualifying wage increases
3. Receive the co-funding payout from IRAS in the scheduled cycle

### Advisor notes

Because it is automatic, PWCS is invisible to most owners: factor it in BEFORE deciding this year's increments, because the co-funding changes the real cost of a raise.

## Resource Efficiency Grant for Emissions (REG(E)) (REG(E))

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/edb-reg-e-emissions
- Agency: Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)
- Goal: Go Green
- Support rate: Tiered by carbon abatement achieved, capped at 50% of qualifying costs
- Max support: No published dollar cap; capped at 50% of qualifying costs, sized by abatement
- Status: open
- Timeline: Open till end-FY2030 (final approvals by 31 Mar 2031); projects up to 5 years; single disbursement at verified completion
- Official page: https://www.edb.gov.sg/content/dam/edb-en/how-we-help/incentive-and-schemes/Information%20-%20Resource%20Efficiency%20Grant%20for%20Emissions.pdf
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: carbon, energy-efficiency, manufacturing, data-centre, EDB, decarbonisation

EDB co-funds up to 50% of projects in manufacturing facilities and data centres that measurably cut carbon, such as energy-efficiency retrofits, non-CO2 greenhouse gas reduction or flare gas recovery. The scheme is open until end-FY2030 and the grant is sized by the carbon abatement your project actually delivers.

### Who it is for

- Manufacturers registered/incorporated in Singapore that own or operate an industrial facility here
- Data centre operators in Singapore
- Facilities with projects that can abate at least 250 tonnes CO2e per year

### What it covers

- Energy-efficient equipment and retrofits
- Materials, consumables and technical software
- Professional services and IP rights
- Consultancy for baselining and project proposal (up to 1 year pre-project)

### How to apply

1. Consult EDB on project eligibility before committing
2. Prepare a Project Proposal with a Measurement & Verification (M&V) plan endorsed by a Professional Engineer or EEO Assessor
3. Submit the application and receive EDB approval before starting
4. Complete within the qualifying period (up to 5 years); grant paid in one lump sum after verified completion

### Advisor notes

This replaced the old Resource Efficiency Grant for Energy - same acronym, new 'Emissions' name and a 250 tCO2e/year floor that rules out small projects (SMEs below that should look at the EEG instead). Cash only arrives after project completion and verification, so you carry the full cost in the meantime; motors, LED and split-unit aircon get a streamlined M&V.

## Scale-Up Programme (Scale-Up)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/scale-up-sg
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Heavily subsidised structured programme (fee support not publicly disclosed)
- Max support: Not published; value is in subsidised top-tier consulting, leadership training, and mentor network
- Status: open
- Timeline: Cohort-based, 12-18 months; no public application deadlines since intake is by invitation
- Official page: https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/scale-up
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: high-growth, leadership, globalisation, consulting, invitation-only, SME transformation

EnterpriseSG's flagship 12-18 month programme that grooms high-growth local companies into global champions, with consulting from partners like McKinsey, EY-Parthenon, PwC and Bain, plus executive training from Stanford and Wharton. Past participants (80 companies across 7 cohorts) added S$2.5 billion in combined revenue within three years of joining.

### Who it is for

- Companies with global headquarters in Singapore
- Strong track record of growth and leadership bench strength
- Ambition and commitment to scale globally
- Willing to work intensively with EnterpriseSG and programme partners for 12-18 months

### What it covers

- Structured growth transformation with expert consulting partners
- Executive leadership training (Stanford, Wharton)
- Leadership development coaching
- Exclusive mentor and peer-leader network plus execution support on growth strategies

### How to apply

1. The programme is by invitation: EnterpriseSG identifies and approaches qualifying companies
2. If not invited, register interest via the contact form on the Scale-Up page
3. Engage EnterpriseSG on your growth plans and track record
4. If selected, commit leadership time for the 12-18 month cohort

### Advisor notes

You cannot simply apply; EnterpriseSG invites companies, so the practical route in is building a visible growth track record and a relationship with your EnterpriseSG account officer first.

## Senior Employment Credit (SEC)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/senior-employment-credit
- Agency: IRAS / MOM
- Goal: Hire & Wages
- Support rate: Up to 2% of wages (age 60-64), up to 4% (age 65-68), up to 7% (age 69 and above) in 2026; extended at Budget 2026 to cover wages paid up to 31 Dec 2027
- Max support: 7% of monthly wages per eligible senior worker (wages up to S$4,000/month qualify)
- Status: open
- Timeline: Automatic payouts roughly every March and September; scheme currently runs until 31 December 2027
- Official page: https://www.iras.gov.sg/schemes/disbursement-schemes/senior-employment-credit-(sec)-cpf-transition-offset-(cto)-and-enabling-employment-credit-(eec)
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: wage offset, senior workers, automatic payout, IRAS, no application, hiring

The government pays you back a slice of the wages of every older Singaporean on your payroll, automatically. If you employ Singapore Citizens aged 60 and above earning up to S$4,000 a month, you receive a wage offset without lifting a finger.

### Who it is for

- Any employer with Singapore Citizen employees aged 60 or above
- Employees must earn up to S$4,000 a month
- CPF contributions must be made for those employees
- No application needed - IRAS assesses you automatically from CPF records

### What it covers

- A percentage wage offset on every qualifying senior worker's pay
- Higher tiers for older workers (top 7% tier now starts at age 69, in line with the raised re-employment age)
- Paired with the CPF Transition Offset, which separately covers half of the 2026/2027 increase in senior-worker employer CPF rates
- Cash paid straight to your GIRO or PayNow Corporate account

### How to apply

1. Nothing to apply - eligibility is worked out from your CPF contribution records
2. Make sure your company has GIRO with IRAS or PayNow Corporate linked to your UEN
3. Receive payouts twice a year (e.g. the 2026 payout landed from 31 Mar 2026)
4. Check your payout breakdown at myTax Portal under SEC/EEC/CTO digital services

### Advisor notes

This is free money you may already be receiving without realising it - check myTax Portal. But do not build long-term salary budgets on it: it is renewed one year at a time and MOM's Tripartite Workgroup review could change the rates after 2027.

## SkillsFuture Course Fee Funding + Absentee Payroll (employer-sponsored training) (ETSS / AP Funding)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/skillsfuture-training-subsidies-employers
- Agency: SWDA (merged SkillsFuture Singapore + Workforce Singapore)
- Goal: Train Your Team
- Support rate: SMEs: up to 90% off Tier 1 courses (emerging/employability skills), up to 70% off Tier 2 (WSQ and other approved courses). Non-SMEs: up to 70%/50% baseline, rising to 90%/70% for Singaporean staff aged 40+ (Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy). Absentee Payroll: flat S$4.50/hour
- Max support: Course subsidies uncapped per course (percentage-based); Absentee Payroll capped at S$100,000 per enterprise per calendar year
- Status: open
- Timeline: Ongoing scheme; subsidy applied instantly at registration, AP reimbursed weeks after course completion
- Official page: https://skillsfuture.gobusiness.gov.sg/support-and-programmes/funding/training-subsidies-for-employers
- Last reviewed: Fri Sep 25
- Tags: training subsidy, ETSS, absentee payroll, WSQ, SME 90%, upskilling

Employers who sponsor staff on SSG-funded courses get course fee subsidies (up to 90% for SMEs under ETSS) plus absentee payroll funding of S$4.50 per training hour, capped at S$100,000 per enterprise a year. Verified 25 Sep 2026.

### Who it is for

- Any employer registered or incorporated in Singapore sponsoring staff training
- SME rates (ETSS) if you have ≤200 employees or ≤S$100m turnover
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens, PRs or LTVP+ holders, fully company-sponsored with CPF contributions
- Includes sole proprietorships, VWOs and societies - only government bodies are excluded

### What it covers

- Course fees for SWDA-approved courses (WSQ, SkillsFuture Series, SCTP, sector regulatory courses)
- Absentee Payroll of S$4.50/hour of attended training to offset wages
- Enhanced 95% AP (capped S$13/hour) for lower-wage Workfare-eligible staff
- Remaining out-of-pocket fees can be further offset up to 90% with SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit

### How to apply

1. Find a funded course in the SkillsFuture for Business Course Directory
2. Register your employee with the training provider - the subsidy is deducted upfront, no grant application
3. Pay only the nett fee plus GST
4. After course completion, the provider triggers the AP claim; declare salary info via the Enterprise Portal for Jobs & Skills
5. AP funding lands in your corporate PayNow within about 2.5 weeks of submission

### Advisor notes

SME status is auto-derived from government data, so if you sit near the 200-headcount or S$100m line, verify your status before booking a big cohort. Also note SSG/WSG merged into SWDA in 2026 and funding tiers were re-cut - the old '90% for everything' assumption is dead; only Tier 1 courses hit 90%.

## SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/sfec
- Agency: SkillsFuture Singapore
- Goal: Train Your Team
- Support rate: 90% of out-of-pocket costs
- Max support: S$10,000 credit
- Status: open
- Timeline: Credit draws down automatically with supportable claims; watch the expiry date
- Official page: https://www.enterprisejobskills.gov.sg/content/upgrade-skills/sfec.html
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: training, skillsfuture, credit, workforce

A S$10,000 credit that offsets 90% of out-of-pocket costs on supportable enterprise and workforce transformation programmes, stacking ON TOP of existing grant support.

### Who it is for

- Employers meeting the qualifying criteria in the qualifying period (historically tied to SDL contributions and local employees)
- Check your eligibility status on the SFEC microsite; many employers are auto-qualified without knowing

### What it covers

- The unfunded portion of supported courses for employees
- Enterprise transformation programmes (including some EDG and PSG projects)
- Job redesign initiatives

### How to apply

1. Check if your company is on the eligible employer list (no application needed to qualify)
2. Use supportable programmes (they draw down the credit automatically at claim)
3. Track balance and expiry on the SFEC dashboard

### Advisor notes

Most eligible SMEs never use their SFEC because they do not know they have it. It stacks with EDG/PSG claims. Note: the current SFEC runs until Nov 2026, after which a redesigned scheme gives companies with 3+ resident employees a fresh S$10,000 credit in an upfront online wallet. Check the expiry window; unused credit lapses.

The new, much bigger successor to PSG-JR: it funds consultants to redesign jobs around AI and automation, trains your managers to carry the change, and part-pays the HR tech to sustain it. The cap jumped from S$30,000 under PSG-JR to S$150,000 per enterprise.

### Who it is for

- Companies registered or incorporated and operating in Singapore
- At least 3 local employees (Citizens or PRs)
- Businesses restructuring roles around AI, automation or new business models
- Must not have already paid or signed contracts for the job redesign consultancy

### What it covers

- End-to-end job redesign consultancy (including AI-readiness and workforce diagnosis)
- Training line managers and HR teams to run change management in-house
- Workforce tech: analytics platforms, skills-gap tools, AI-infused HR systems
- Part of the S$400m+ Enterprise Workforce Transformation Package launched 2026

### How to apply

1. Scope your workforce transformation project (SBF and SNEF are appointed Anchor Partners who advise for free)
2. Apply through the Business Grants Portal - the new single channel for workforce schemes
3. Pay only your co-funding share directly to the consultant (nett fee model)
4. Grant is disbursed as approved project milestones are completed

### Advisor notes

Do not sign the consultant's contract before approval - prior payment or signed contracts disqualify you outright. Also, the S$90k tech component cannot be claimed alone; bundle it with consultancy or capability building or it gets rejected.

## Startup SG Equity (SSGE)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/startup-sg-equity
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore / EDB
- Goal: Start Something
- Support rate: Government co-investment alongside qualified private investors (ratio varies by stage and deal)
- Max support: Co-investment cap of up to S$12 million per deep tech startup via SEEDS Capital (raised from S$8 million); general tech capped lower
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling, deal-by-deal; driven by your fundraise timeline with a co-investment partner
- Official page: https://www.startupsg.gov.sg/programmes/4895/startup-sg-equity
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05

The government co-invests alongside approved private-sector investment partners into Singapore-based tech startups with IP and global market potential, stretching every private dollar you raise. Budget 2026 topped the scheme up with S$1 billion and expanded it beyond early-stage to growth-stage deep tech startups.

### Who it is for

- Singapore-based, Singapore-incorporated tech startups
- Startups with proprietary IP or technology and global market potential
- Deep tech startups (early AND now growth stage) are the priority after the 2026 top-up
- Founders who have secured, or can secure, a qualified third-party private investor

### What it covers

- Equity co-investment into your funding round (not a grant)
- Early-stage deep tech and general tech rounds
- Growth-stage deep tech rounds (new from Budget 2026)
- Follow-on capacity via SEEDS Capital and EDBI alongside partner VCs

### How to apply

1. Confirm you meet the Singapore-based, IP-driven tech startup criteria
2. Pitch to and secure a term sheet from one of the appointed co-investment partners (VCs working with SEEDS Capital/EDBI)
3. The partner brings the deal to SEEDS Capital/EDBI for matched co-investment
4. Complete joint due diligence and close the round with both private and government money

### Advisor notes

You do not apply to the government directly; the real gate is convincing one of the appointed co-investment VC partners to lead, after which the government match follows, and remember this is equity dilution, not free grant money.

## Startup SG Founder (SSG Founder)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/startup-sg-founder
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore
- Goal: Start Something
- Support rate: S$3 for every S$1 you raise

### What it covers

- Startup operating capital: product development, marketing, hiring

### How to apply

1. Pick an Accredited Mentor Partner (AMP) and pitch to them
2. AMP evaluates and endorses your application
3. Commit your S$10,000 co-match
4. Receive tranches against milestones with AMP mentorship

### Advisor notes

The AMP choice matters more than the paperwork; each AMP has different selection appetites and mentorship value. Verify current co-match ratio and quantum at the official page.

## Startup SG Tech (SSG Tech)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/startup-sg-tech
- Agency: Enterprise Singapore
- Goal: Start Something

2. Prepare technical and commercialisation plan
3. Apply via Startup SG Tech cycles
4. Milestone-based disbursement

### Advisor notes

Routine SaaS or apps will be rejected as not deep-tech. Strongest cases pair a technical founder with defensible IP and a named first customer for the POV stage.

## Tourism Product Development Fund (TPDF)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/stb-tourism-product-development-fund
- Agency: Singapore Tourism Board (STB)
- Goal: Upgrade & Transform
- Support rate: Not published; assessed per project by STB
- Max support: Not published; scoped per project
- Status: open

- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: tourism, product-development, STB, visitor-spend, new-experiences

STB funding for building new tourism products and experiences that will draw foreign visitors and get them spending. Sits alongside BIF but is aimed at creating something new rather than improving how an existing business runs.

### Who it is for

- Businesses creating new tourism products or experiences
- Projects that will attract foreign visitors and grow their spending
- Associations and government bodies developing tourism assets

### What it covers

- Professional services
- Hardware and equipment
- Software, materials and consumables
- Production costs

### How to apply

1. Check eligibility via the chatbot on the STB grants page
2. Submit an executive summary using the provided template
3. Await STB officer contact and submit the full application
4. Only start the project (no tenders, payments or contracts) after approval

### Advisor notes

The bar is foreign-visitor impact - a product mainly serving locals will struggle here even if it's genuinely innovative; be ready to show visitor-number and spend projections in the executive summary. Page verified updated 5 May 2026.

## Uplifting Employment Credit (UEC)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/uplifting-employment-credit
- Agency: IRAS / MOM
- Goal: Hire & Wages
- Support rate: Up to 20% of monthly wages for the first 9 months of employment
- Max support: Capped at S$600/month per employee (max ~S$5,400 per hire over 9 months); scheme runs until 31 December 2028
- Status: open
- Timeline: Automatic annual payout (May); scheme confirmed until 31 December 2028
- Official page: https://www.iras.gov.sg/schemes/disbursement-schemes/uplifting-employment-credit
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: ex-offenders, second chance hiring, wage offset, automatic payout, IRAS, until 2028

A wage offset for giving ex-offenders a second chance: the government covers up to 20% of their wages for the first nine months of employment. It was extended at Budget 2025 and now runs until end-2028.

### Who it is for

- Employers hiring local ex-offenders released from prison within the last 3 years
- Employee must earn below S$4,000 a month
- CPF contributions must be made for the employee
- No application needed - assessed automatically

### What it covers

- Wage offset for the first 9 months of each qualifying hire
- Applies per employee, so multiple qualifying hires all attract the offset
- Cash payout to your company bank account via GIRO/PayNow Corporate
- Complements Yellow Ribbon Singapore's placement support

### How to apply

1. Hire an eligible ex-offender and contribute CPF as normal
2. Ensure GIRO with IRAS or PayNow Corporate is in place
3. Receive the payout automatically (2026 payout from 29 May 2026)
4. Enquiries via go.gov.sg/askUEC or IRAS 6351 3299

### Advisor notes

The 9-month clock and the 'released within 3 years' rule both matter - hire too long after release and there is no credit at all. Recruit through Yellow Ribbon's channels so the paper trail is clean.

## Water Efficiency Fund (WEF)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/pub-water-efficiency-fund
- Agency: PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency
- Goal: Go Green
- Support rate: 70% for assessments and pilots; for implementation, water-savings incentive (S$0.71/m3 potable water saved) OR up to 50% of capital cost, whichever is lower
- Max support: S$30,000 (assessment), S$150,000 (pilot study), S$300,000 (water-efficient equipment), S$5 million (recycling / IWSDF projects)
- Status: open
- Timeline: Rolling applications; final disbursement 1-3 years after commissioning depending on category
- Official page: https://www.pub.gov.sg/Public/WaterLoop/Water-Conservation/Incentives-and-Grants/Water-Efficiency-Fund
- Last reviewed: Sun Jul 05
- Tags: water, sustainability, recycling, PUB, audit, equipment

PUB co-funds businesses to audit, pilot and implement water-saving measures, from a 70%-funded water audit up to S$5 million for a full-scale water recycling plant. Aimed at heavier water users (from 1,000 cubic metres a month), it pays you either per cubic metre of water saved or a share of capital cost, whichever is lower.

### Who it is for

- Premises using at least 1,000 m3 of water a month (smaller sites can apply collectively)
- Manufacturers, hotels, F&B centrals and other water-intensive operations
- Companies exploring water recycling or alternate water sources
- Early adopters of innovative water tech (IWSDF track, 10,000 m3/month sites)

### What it covers

- Water efficiency assessment / audit costs (meters, instrumentation, lab tests)
- Small-scale pilot recycling plants to prove feasibility
- Full-scale recycling plants and alternate water sources
- Water-efficient equipment and process changes

### How to apply

1. Discuss the proposed project with PUB before applying (encouraged)
2. Download and complete the WEF application form for your funding category
3. Submit with water bills and project details; await PUB's letter of offer
4. Implement; claims disbursed at commissioning and after water savings are verified (75% of declared savings must be achieved)

### Advisor notes

Payouts hinge on verified water savings - if you achieve less than 75% of what you declared, the back half of the grant is at risk, so declare conservatively. Rainwater harvesting and basic tap/cistern swaps are explicitly not fundable. Application pack verified (updated 2 Oct 2025; PUB press release Mar 2026 confirms fund active).

## Workfare Skills Support (employer-sponsored track) (WSS)

- Page: https://sggrantadvisor.com/grants/workfare-skills-support
- Agency: SWDA / WSG
- Goal: Train Your Team
- Support rate: Absentee Payroll at 95% of hourly basic salary, capped at S$13 per training hour (vs the standard S$4.50/hour)
- Max support: S$13/hour per eligible trainee, within the S$100,000/year enterprise AP cap
- Status: open
- Timeline: Ongoing; enhanced rates in force since 1 July 2023, still current in 2026 with further allowance increases from July 2026
- Official page: https://skillsfuture.gobusiness.gov.sg/support-and-programmes/funding/absentee-payroll-funding
- Last reviewed: Fri Sep 25
- Tags: lower-wage workers, workfare, absentee payroll 95%, training, retail F&B ops, SWDA

Workfare Skills Support (WSS) helps lower-wage Singapore Citizens train. From 1 July 2026, WSS (Basic) pays S$10.50 per training hour (up to 180 hours) and employers get up to 95% absentee payroll, capped at S$13/hr. Verified 25 Sep 2026.

### Who it is for

- Employers sponsoring lower-wage staff for SWDA-funded courses
- Employee must be a Singapore Citizen aged 30+ (or person with special needs aged 13+)
- Employee earns not more than S$2,500/month gross
- Standard AP conditions apply: full sponsorship, CPF contributions, course completion

### What it covers

- 95% of the employee's wages for hours spent in approved training
- Stacks with the course-fee subsidies (up to 90% Tier 1 for SMEs)
- Applies automatically through the same AP claim process - no separate WSS application for employers
- Self-sponsored workers get separate allowances (S$6/hr rising to S$10.50/hr from July 2026) and the new WSS Level-Up tier opened 9 Feb 2026

### How to apply

1. Confirm the staff member meets the Workfare criteria (age 30+, ≤S$2,500/month)
2. Enrol them in an SWDA-funded course (Tier 1 or 2)
3. Complete the normal Absentee Payroll claim after the course - the enhanced 95% rate is applied for eligible workers
4. Funds disbursed to corporate PayNow

### Advisor notes

The S$2,500/month threshold is gross salary and the 95% rate is applied per eligible worker automatically in the AP claim - many bosses never notice they got the enhanced rate. One worker can only draw one wage compensation (AP, salary support or allowance) for the same hours.
