EDGE is Enterprise Singapore’s consolidated business grant. It replaces the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) and the Market Readiness Assistance grant (MRA) with one application, where you pick the activity you want funded instead of first working out which scheme it belongs to.
EDGE opened on 30 September 2026 and is now the only pathway for new applications that EDG, PSG and MRA used to cover.
Up to 70% of qualifying costs for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs, depending on the activity. Each company can receive up to S$100,000 a year across all EDGE activities combined.
Within the S$100,000 annual cap, up to S$30,000 can be used on single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and selected automation. It is part of the S$100,000, not on top of it.
No. All three stopped accepting new applications on 29 September 2026. Applications lodged before 30 September are still assessed under the old rules, and approved projects continue to completion and claim.
Nothing changes. Enterprise Singapore has confirmed ongoing projects are supported through to completion and claim disbursement under their original terms.
Yes. EDGE is open to all Singapore-registered businesses, including non-SMEs, at up to 50% of qualifying costs. Most of EDG, PSG and MRA was closed to them.
No. MRA only funded markets where you had under S$100,000 of sales in each of the last three years. That test was removed for EDGE, so deepening an existing market is supportable.
Yes. Enterprise Singapore confirms previous applicants and recipients can apply for EDGE.
On 1 April each year, per Enterprise Singapore. The S$100,000 is shared across all your EDGE activities in that year.
Nothing. Enterprise Singapore says EDGE is not an acronym; the name conveys giving enterprises an edge over competitors. Expansions you may see online, such as "Enterprise Development and Growth Engine", are wrong.
No. Change requests only cover the project end date and claim due date. To change vendor you terminate the project on the Business Grants Portal and submit a new application, so confirm your vendor before you apply.
Only for activities that have a pre-approved vendor list, which works like PSG did. Where no list applies, you may engage a vendor of your choice.
Enterprise Singapore names Automation & Digitalisation, Business Strategy, Financial Management, Innovation, Internationalisation, Standards and Sustainability, and says there are 8 in total with over 100 activities. The full activity list is published on the EDGE website and BizSG from 30 September 2026.
On the Business Grants Portal with your company’s Corppass. Choose the activity, attach the vendor quotation and project details, and submit before signing a contract or paying anything. Support is paid as a reimbursement after the work is done and paid for.
No. Enterprise Singapore states EDGE is not supportable under SFEC. SFEC-supported programmes under EDG, MRA and PSG must submit final claims by 30 November 2026.
Enterprise Singapore assesses larger customised projects case by case. Otherwise, phase the work so later parts fall into the next grant year.
No, the company applies itself through the portal. A good adviser earns their keep by picking the right activity, scoping costs so they qualify, and phasing projects around the two caps. Our eligibility check is free.
