Mid-Career Pathways Programme (Host Organisations)

Trial an experienced 40+ hire for four to six months while the government pays 70% of their attachment allowance. If they work out, you convert them to a permanent role; if not, you part ways with no severance baggage.

Who qualifies

  • Host organisations registered or incorporated in Singapore (SMEs, MNCs, TACs, NGOs, non-profits)
  • Companies with genuine headcount to hire mature workers aged 40 and above
  • Must commit to converting satisfactory trainees into full-time permanent roles
  • Conversion salary must be same or higher than the attachment allowance

Advisor's note

The conversion commitment is real - WSG expects you to hire satisfactory trainees, so treat this as subsidised probation, not cheap temporary labour. Budget for the permanent salary from day one.
